Short presentation

I am interested in social reproduction, housing, labor, and everyday life, as entry points to broader critical understanding of capitalism (and for strategizing post-capitalist transitions). My current project is about the relationship between urban village (chengzhongcun) housing and social reproduction of migrant workers in Shenzhen, China.

Biography

I started my PhD research here in 2024.

I have a Master's degree in Human Geography at Lund University and a Bachelor's in GIS (with arduous struggles in all senses) at Peking University. I lived in Beijing for over 20 years before I moved to Sweden.
