The Swedish million program housing constitutes the basis for my PhD project where I want to bridge the gap between architectural theory and human geography. I use qualitative methods such as archival studies, drawings, interviews and observations to look at how this building stock has been, and is, valued and maintained. What factors that governs renovations and what that can tell us about the greater narrative of this building heritage is examined through case studies.
