Short presentation
My research is centered around understanding the phenomenology of interacting electrons in solids and the associated emerging phases with examples of magnetism and superconductivity.
Research
I have worked on the understanding of magnetic excitations and fluctuations in insulators and metals. In the latter, such fluctuations can lead to effectively attractive interaction which eventually give rise to the formation of Cooper pairs.
The properties of the Cooper pair condensate in unconventional superconductors is one of my main interests of research. Topics span from fundamental understanding with model calculations to simulations for real materials to interpret experimental data.
