Short presentation
I am a PhD student in Materials Science at Uppsala University, working in Ocean Cheung's research group. With a background in analytical chemistry, I research MOFs and COFs for environmental applications, focusing on photocatalytic hydrogen production and PFAS removal and degradation. I also have a strong interest in 3D printing, analytical instrumentation, and technical problem-solving.

Biography
I hold a Bachelor's degree in chemistry and a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University.
During my master's thesis at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, I investigated the synthesis, characterization, and adsorption properties of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for removing contaminants from water.
Following my master's degree, I joined Ocean Cheung's research group as a PhD student, focusing on functional materials for environmental applications.
Research
My research focuses on the synthesis, modification, and characterization of metal-organic and covalent organic frameworks (MOFs and COFs) for environmental applications.
My work involves developing photocatalytic materials for water splitting and sustainable hydrogen production, as well as materials for PFAS removal and degradation in water. The aim is to understand and optimize material properties to develop more efficient and sustainable solutions to environmental challenges.
