Short presentation
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Materials Theory Division. I use computational methods to predict the properties of magnetic materials in order to find new, sustainably sourced magnets that are optimised for applications in energy conversion devices. These methods span multiple length scales, connecting the quantum mechanics of solid state electrons with nanoscale spin dynamics and polycrystalline micromagnetics.
