Short presentation

I hold a BA and MA in Chinese from Uppsala University, and have previously worked for several years as a Political Officer at the Swedish embassy in Beijing.

My main areas of interest are Chinese language politics and sociolinguistics. Currently I am working on my doctoral research project, which is about folklorization processes pertaining to minority languages in the People's Republic of China.
