Short presentation
My research explores ways of ensuring non-diversion of nuclear material from the peaceful nuclear fuel cycle and nuclear energy systems. Nuclear safeguards are measures and tools that deter from misuse of civil nuclear materials and facilities. The development of non-destructive assay instruments and analysis techniques for verification of spent nuclear fuel, which I am contributing to, is an important part of the safeguards system.
