Professor of New Testament. Research areas: the Dead Sea Scrolls, apocalypticism, meals, gender, purity laws. Latest book, with Tobias Hägerland: “Jesus, the Apocalyptic Prophet,” T & T Clark (2021). Editor of The Dead Sea Scrolls, in the ten-volume series Ancient Literature for New Testament Studies (Zondervan Academic) and one of two General editors.
