The Conferment Ceremony for 91 jubilee doctors and 153 new doctoral graduates at all of the University’s faculties.
No bags are allowed in the auditorium during the ceremony. The University Building cloakroom opens at 11:00.
Programme
07:00 Cannon salute from Uppsala Castle
08:00 Bell-ringing, Uppsala Cathedral
12:00 Conferment Ceremony in the Grand Auditorium, The University Main Building. Uppsala University’s symphony orchestra, the Royal Academic Orchestra, will play during the ceremony.
The ceremony includes cannon salutes fired from the Castle at intervals between approximately 12:45 and 15:00.
All seats should be taken by 12:00.
Tickets are required for admission to the ceremony in the Grand Auditorium.
