New doctoral students at the Department of Law

Throughout the spring and autumn terms, six new doctoral students as yet have been welcomed to the Department of Law and our doctoral programme. One of the students has been admitted to the programme thanks to a SIDA-financed collaboration with the University of Rwanda.
Here below are listed the name, the field of research and the preliminary title of the thesis, respectively.

Laima Vaigé

Preliminary title of thesis: "Cross-Border Recognition of Same-sex Marriages and Partnerships - The Impact of Europeanization of Law"
By means of a SIDA-funded cooperation between Uppsala University and the University of Rwanda, the Department of Law has admitted two doctoral students, Tom Mulisa och Naomi Umuhoza, who started the doctoral programme in autumn 2015. For this autumn a third doctoral student within the SIDA project will start his research studies: Innocent Musonera. Coordinator for the project is Professor Daniel Stattin at the Uppsala Department of Law.
