About the course
Overall how the internet is designed and works. Design options in the different layers of the TCP/IP protocol stack. Standard tools for troubleshooting communication paths. Theorising about establishing and maintaining communication paths at different levels of abstraction. Identification of common security issues that can occur in network protocols and applications.
