About the course
Energy storage technologies for electric vehicles and the electric grid (battries, fuel cells, super capasitors, flywheel and hydrogen). Charging and discharging of energy storage units (power electronics and control systems). Energy management systems and their performance. Efficiency of diffent types of energy storage, as well as combinations of power and energy storage systems. The limitations of their components and their resulting impact on ware and lifetime of those components. Testing and computer based modelling of energy storage units.
