About the course
The course commences with a brief introduction to the scientific objectives of a hypothetical space expedition, accompanied by clear delineation of economic and time constraints for the project. Within these predefined parameters, participants are tasked with investigating the conditions for the envisioned space journey. The simulated expedition is grounded in real plans, mirroring existing projects within international space organizations. Upon successful completion of the course, students are expected to demonstrate the ability to collaboratively solve a complex scientific and technical problem in project form alongside team members, articulate the solution using appropriate scientific and technical terminology both orally and in writing, and explain the intricacies of space operations and its unique conditions.
