Bachelor degree of at least 180 credits, including 70 credits in physics, chemistry, material science and/or materials engineering and 20 credits in mathematics. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6. (A Swedish Bachelor's degree fulfils the requirement in English.)

About the course
The overall aim of this course is to offer students in the Master Programme in Materials Engineering an opportunity to deepen their knowledge in an area not covered by the regular courses in the program. It is done by individual studies of research papers and other academic literature.
The content should be on an advanced level and is defined together with the program coordinator and program advisor to promote further studies within a particular specialisation of the Master programme in Materials Engineering.
