How did you choose your programme?
– I've been working as a chef for quite a few years and have been trying to build my blog. My goal has always been to do more, educate more, and improve, plus I've always been a perfectionist thus, after quitting the kitchen and restaurants, the decision to choose this programme came naturally. Quality and leadership simply seemed like a good fit.

What is it like to be an international student?
– Internationals here at university are very welcome. There is a rich cross-cultural environment promoting global perspectives and collaborative learning. Also, the community is extremely supportive which highly contributes in preparing us students for leadership roles.

What is the best thing about studying at Uppsala University?
– Uppsala University is awesome because it's all about top-notch academics and cool traditions. The teachers are into cutting-edge research and make learning fun. Plus, the campus vibe is lively, making it a great place to study and hang out with friends.

Do you remember your first impression of Visby?
– Well to begin with, I was amazed of the view I have out the window at my apartment. It's the sea, boats, cruise ships, and beautiful nature in general. Then, I had a walk in Visby, inside walls, and it's just gorgeous. Lastly, the feel of the town seemed like home and really cosy.

Name three things you are doing this week!
– This will sound quite boring but I'm studying, working, and going to the gym.

What is your reason for studying, or your ultimate goal?
– More knowledge and experience. No matter which field I choose in the end, I hope to start my own business.

Describe the student life!
– Student life at Uppsala University is a blast! There's a fantastic mix of academics and social stuff. The best part for me has been meeting awesome people from all over the world and making memories together – from late-night study sessions to exploring the cool spots in Visby, Gotland. It's not just about classes; it's a whole adventure!

Three quick questions
What is your favourite place in Visby?
– I would say it's Södra Hällarna. It's a bit outside of town and just an extremely beautiful place.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
– Probably working at some company and gaining experience within my chosen field. However, eventually, I hope to start my own business.

Where is the best place to study?
– In the beginning of my studies, I used to choose some cute cafes however I noticed I procrastinate more than study there. So now it's either D or B building at Campus Gotland.
