Entry requirements
120 credits with 90 credits in chemistry, biology or physics, including at least 60 credits chemistry. Admission requires a project plan accepted by the department.
Learning outcomes
After the course, the student should be able to:
- plan and delimit (in both extent and time) for a scientific study of a chemistry-related problem
- search, evaluate and compile information relevant to the problem
- with supervision run a scientific project and carry the study using a selection of appropriate methods, interpret and evaluate the results of the study
- present the results in scientifically correct language
Content
An independent research or development project is carried out under supervision at a company, a governmental agency or a university. Planning, implementation and presentation of a project.
Instruction
Individual supervision at the workplace.
Assessment
Written and oral presentation of the project, and a written account of working in the context of a research or
development project.
