Research

Ringarps research specialties includes history of education, educational policy, teacher profession, post-Second world war German history and Educational establishment programs for newly arrived job-seeking migrants 1970s-2000s.

Ringarp is at the moment active in three research projects: Meritocracy, democracy or market? Governance of higher education in Finland and Sweden, 1965-2018, Bourgeios feminism or class solidarity? Working class women´s action and strategies in the bourgeois women´s movement around the turn of the ceuntry 1900 and Programs for newly arrived job-seeking immigrants. The making of a new nich in the Swedish educational system.
