Short presentation
My main research interests are citizenship, civic integration, language policy, minority policy, internal bordering and repatriation/deportation. My postdoctoral project (funded by the Swedish Research Council 2023-2025) deals with language requirements in linguistically diverse cities in Sweden, Denmark and Finland. From August 2023 to June 2025, I am visiting researcher at the Centre for Advanced Migration Studies, University of Copenhagen, and the Migration Institute of Finland.

Biography
I have previously worked at Södertörn University, the University of Vienna, and Karl Franzens-University in Graz. I have been visiting scholar at the Centre for the Study of Democracy and Diversity, Queen’s University, ON, Canada, and the Swedish Research Institute in Istanbul.
