Biography
Iain Denny is a PhD candidate in the marketing section at Uppsala University. His field is principally consumer research with a focus on consumption sociology.
He holds a Master of Science in Marketing from Stockholm University and a Bachelor of Art in Film and Literature from Sheffield Hallam University.
Research
Iain is currently working at developing the psychoanalytic notion of melancholy in line with recent interest in psychoanalytic theorising in interpretive consumer research. This theorising directly relates to his ongoing work concerning leaving consumer groups and consumption practices.
