Educational Support for Teaching Staff at
Uppsala University
Are you interested in developing your teaching, exploring new methods, or receiving support on pedagogical matters? The Unit for Academic Teaching and Learning offers free consultations in areas such as:
- Inclusive teaching practices
- Technology and AI in education
- Course and programme development
- Assessment, grading, and feedback
- Supervision of students and doctoral candidates
- Active learning strategies
- Integrating sustainable development and global challenges into teaching
We are happy to participate in faculty development days, departmental meetings, or provide individual consultations. We also collaborate with educational leaders to support long-term development initiatives.
Focus on AI in Education

Adaptable Educational Development Training (AKU)
We also offer adaptable Educational Development Training - AKU – a formal teacher training qualification, developed in close dialogue with departments. AKU is tailored to meet both departmental needs and the pedagogical development goals of individual teachers, and is conducted locally.
