Request for studio activity - Studio Blåsenhus
Who can use Studio Blåsenhus?
Studio Blåsenhus is available free of charge to all employees at Uppsala University for studio activities related to teaching, research studies, and research communication with a focus on teaching.
To ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to use the studio, we use the “Four in a Row” concept, meaning that users can book up to four recording sessions at a time before booking new ones.
The studio team reserves the right to decline recording projects that do not align with the studio’s purpose — recording and studio activities related to teaching and research contexts within Uppsala University.

How it works: From first contact to engaged audience in seven steps
- Send in your request via the online form. Your request will be reviewed by the team at Studio Blåsenhus, and we will get back to you thereafter.
- Email contact and preparation: If we are able to take on your project, you will receive an email from the studio team proposing a time for a consultation as well as a preliminary time for your studio activity. You will also receive tips and advice on how to prepare for the consultation to ensure a productive meeting (e.g., by reviewing the Studio Menu and the Media Course).
- Consultation: You will meet with a pedagogical developer (and a studio environment specialist if needed) via Zoom or in person at Studio Blåsenhus to discuss and plan your studio activity. An agreement will be made regarding your studio activity, and the studio time will be confirmed.
- Planning the studio activity: You plan your studio activity based on the consultation discussion. If you need support from a service specialist or pedagogical developer, we are happy to assist!
- Studio activity: You come to the studio and receive support from a service specialist or studio technician (and a pedagogical developer if needed). The session begins with a short “tactics talk” where we plan the studio activity and its execution, including a time allocation for the session (including time for editing). Any editing is conducted within the booked time. The recorded file will be transferred to you. If more time is needed, an additional session can be booked.
- 10 questions: After your studio activity, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback about your experience. This input is important for our ongoing development.
- Engage the target group: If your studio activity relates to teaching, pedagogical support is offered on how to integrate the recording into your teaching to optimize student learning (e.g., how your recording can be integrated into the learning platform, which learning activities can be linked to the recording, and how the material can be made accessible to all students).
