About the course

Analytical mechanics is a fundamental part of classical physics with significant technical applications. The following topics are covered in this course: the general motion of a rigid body, central motion, constraints and generalised coordinates, Hamilton's principle, Lagrange's equations, coupled oscillations, and special relativity.
