About the course
The course builds on previous courses in physical chemistry. It provides insights into quantum mechanical concepts and how these, qualitatively and quantitatively, can describe properties of the atoms in the periodic table. During the course, an introduction to approximate methods for computational chemistry and practice in using these methods in computer applications is given. The course also explains the relationship between molecular micro properties and bulk properties, and presents applications in business and society.
