About the course
Lie algebras are algebraic counterparts of Lie groups. In this course, one can learn the basics of the structure and representation theory of complex Lie algebras.
The culminating point of the course is the classification of semi-simple finite dimensional complex Lie algebras. The course carefully develops, from scratch, all the theory that is necessary to formulate and prove this classification.
