About the course
The course is an introduction to several central research themes within the interdisciplinary world of peace and conflict research. You are introduced to this world through the use of films depicting various varieties of war, violence, and peace. All films relate to important themes, concepts, and theoretical approaches within the broad sphere of peace and conflict research. These themes are further highlighted and grounded in research through the reading and critical discussion of several academic texts that relate to central subjects portrayed in the films.
The classroom sessions will be scheduled between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
