About the course
The course provides basic knowledge of how bioinformatics tools can be used to solve problems within pharmacology, pharmacy, and pharmaceutical chemistry. The course presents an introduction and historical account of pharmaceutical bioinformatics, representation of biological and chemical data in computers, biological and chemical databases, theory and methods for the analysis of experimental data, sequence analysis, predictive modelling, model validation, structure-activity relationships, and applications in pharmaceutical bioinformatics.
