Apply for a residence permit
Students from outside the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA), and Switzerland are typically required to obtain a residence permit before moving to Sweden. Applications for residence permits are processed by the Swedish Migration Agency. Uppsala University offers support throughout the residence permit application process, both before and during your studies.
