Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the student should be able to:
- describe and account for the different stages of the construction process,
- account for and describe various types of contract and payment forms,
- describe the different roles of all partners involved and their responsibilities in the construction process,
- describe relevant laws and regulations that influence the parties in the construction process.
Content
The course deals with the central parts in the construction process: Laws and regulations, various parties at the workplace, contract forms and methods for reimbursement. .
Instruction
Lectures. Project Work. Exercises.
Assessment
Written examination (2 credits) and passed project assignment (3 credits).
If there are special reasons for doing so, an examiner may make an exception from the method of assessment indicated and allow a student to be assessed by another method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special pedagogical support from the disability coordinator of the university.
