Content
The course focus is a project group work where students produce a small game based on a design documentation.
The course includes the entire project process, from design to complete demo. Students use iterative development to develop a simple digital game while learning the tools needed to complete the game. This includes design, Scrum rituals and production documentation. Students reflect on their teamwork and efficiency, as well as their individual learning.
Instruction
Teaching consists of lectures and project supervision.
Assessment
The course contains individual as well as groupbased examinations.
Student groups are assessed on hand-in assignments. Individuals are further assessed on their teamwork, as well as written and oral reflections on learning.
If there are special reasons for doing so, an examiner may make an exception from the method of assessment indicated and allow a student to be assessed by another method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special pedagogical support from the University´s disability coordinator.
