MD, PhD, Associate professor global health
Biografi
With a background as a specialist physician in obstetrics and gynaecology, I have both clinical as well as research experience from several low-resource settings and a special interest in emergency obstetric care, innovations, and implementation. Apart from being affiliated researcher at the Department of Women's and Children's Health, I currently hold a position as physician and Chief Medical Officer at a CRO specialized in clinical trials and as Associate Professor in global health at the Department of Global Public Health, Karolinska Institutet.
Forskning
My main research focus is on maternal and newborn health and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in low-income countries. Prior and current research projects include:
