Kort presentation
Professor i Industriell teknik. Min forskning och undervisning är å ena sidan inriktad mot industriell strategi och innovation, samt å andra sidan inriktad mot etik och hållbarhet, främst i koppling till teknik och företagande.
Biografi
Inom områdena industriell strategi och innovation samt etik och hållbarhet, är jag engagerad i följande forskningsområden:
Industriell strategi och innovation inom den industriell dynamiken: Detta forskningsområde syftar till att förstå sambandet mellan industriell och institutionell dynamik och företagsstrategier ur ett modernt historiskt perspektiv, särskilt inom sjöfartsnäringen. Forskningsområdet inspireras teoretiskt av strategi / management / organisationsteori, historiska metoder från ekonomisk historia / maritim historia, samt filosofi. Metodologiskt använder forskningsområdet finans- / marknads- / resursanalys, djupintervjuer med nyckelpersoner i näringen, och arkivstudier.
Management, innovation och entreprenörskap: Denna forskning handlar om alternativa konceptualiseringar av management, entreprenörskap och innovation, med betoning av processuella aspekter såsom bricolage samt serendipity. Detta område försöker överbrygga "västerländsk" och "österländsk" kunskap om management, genom att inkludera begrepp som Anshin och satoruka in i managementfältet.
Etik och hållbarhet inom teknik och företagande: Studier av etiska frågor som rör teknik och företag, till exempel ojämlikhet i fördelningen av miljökonsekvenser av IKT samt en problematisering av hållbar ICT. Forskningsområdet omfattar teorier från icke-västliga sammanhang, till exempel japansk och buddhistisk etik.
Korruption: Jag är engagerad i att studera korruption och anti-korruption. Forskningen syftar till att problematisera kriget mot korruption, och föreslå alternativ teoribildning inom detta område. Empiriska studier görs i till exempel konstruktion, hälsovård, etc.
