Psykolog, docent i klinisk psykologi. Kliniskt verksam vid barn- och ungdomspsykiatrin, Akademiska Sjukhuset.
Biografi
Min forskning handlar om psykologiska och kontextuella mekanismers roll vid kroppslig och psykiatrisk ohälsa. Psykologiska och kontextuella variabler kan fungera som risk- eller skyddsfaktorer vid utvecklandet och förvärrandet och somatiska och psykiatriska ohälsotillstånd. I min forskning försöker jag förstå hur dessa mekanismer verkar och hur de kan påverkas av psykologiska interventioner. De variabler jag framförallt intresserar mig för är undvikandebeteende, acceptans, psykologisk flexibilitet, känsloreglering och sömn. Den ohälsa jag huvudsakligen forskat på är tinnitus, kronisk smärta och barnpsykiatriska tillstånd. De psykologiska interventioner jag utformat och utvärderat är beteendeterapeutiska till sin inriktning.
Forskning
För närvarande har jag två pågående forskningslinjer.
Den ena rör psykologiska mekanismer ch psykologisk behandling vid barnpsykiatriska tillstånd med fokus på sömn, känsloreglering och tvångssyndrom.
Den andra rör psykologiska mekanismer och psykologisk behandling vid långvarig smärta.
En tidigare forskningslinje rörde psykologiska mekanismer och psykologisk behandling vid tinnitusbesvär. I den forskningen var jag knuten till Linköpings Universitet och de studierna syns inte i publikationslistan nedan då de publicerades innan jag blev anknuten till Uppsala Universitet.
