Miriam Ingeson

Miriam Ingeson’s doctoral project explores theories of participation in mass atrocity crimes in Swedish criminal law and the law of the ICC. The research in the project seeks to pin down the premises for legal dogmatics in this context, and study the idea of transnational theory. Transnational theory moves beyond mere comparative perspectives and defines the circumstances in which conceptualizations such as theory of participation may transcend the system within which it was developed.
