Jakob Thyr är doktor I fasta tillståndets fysik. Hans forskningsområde är lågdimensionella material för energi- och miljötillämpningar med fokus på fotokatalys för vattenrening. Han är specialist på Ramanspektroskopi inom vilket han har mer än 10 års erfarenhet.
