Short presentation

I am a gender studies scholar and lecturer in gender-based violence and health, with a particular interest in how reproduction and reproductive technologies are shaped in global and transnational contexts, and in the relationships, forms of intimate and reproductive labour, and inequalities that emerge around them. In my doctoral research, I examined transnational commercial surrogacy in Thailand, focusing on surrogate mothers’ experiences of reproductive labour in an illegal context.
