VFU network

In 2012, the Unit for Academic Teaching and Learning started a network at Uppsala University for teachers and coordinators active in professional education.

The network grew out of a need that existed in education programs with elements of workplace-based education (VFU) to discuss issues across educational boundaries.

The purpose of the network is as follows:

• To establish a forum for discussion and exchange regarding various themes related to VFU.
• To provide opportunities for peer support where participants can share their thoughts, tips, experiences and ideas regarding VFU.
• To develop VFU within various educational programs.

The network is open to everyone who is interested in VFU: teachers, coordinators and administrators who are active in education programs with elements of VFU or in education programs that have plans to introduce VFU.

The activities offered are meetings with introductory speakers and space for discussions.
