Simon and Falco discuss a student-led session on modern slavery and sustainable supply chains. The live streamed session was held at the Recording Studio in Blåsenhus and featured four invited guests from industry. The aim of the session was not only to reflect on the course content, but also to explore the topic´s emotional and ethical dimensions through artistic expressions, such as student-created poems, music and visual media.

The event also included a student-led panel discussion with the invited industry guests and a presentation by Professor Annika Skoglund from Uppsala University. Following the session, the event continued with a student-created exhibition in the Experimental Classroom.

The interview focuses on the pedagogical benefits of involving students as co-creators in teaching from both the teacher´s and the student´s perspectives. It also includes advice on how to enhance active student participation in general.

Simon received funding in 2024 from the Faculty of Science and Technology's University Pedagogical Renewal Fund for his project: Developing a Sustainability Mindset through Experiential Learning: Bridging Operations & Supply Chain Education with Ongoing Environmental Decisions in Industry.
