The course covers the following aspects of grid connection of variable sources: standards for integration of renewables to the distribution system, distributed generation, microgrids/energy storage, solar power systems, wind power systems, wave power systems, power converters for grid integration, control strategies, spatial and temporal variability of different variable sources.
