Entry requirements
60 credits in physics including Thermodynamics and Quantum Physics and 10 credits in modern physics, e.g. Nuclear Physics, Particle Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, Special Relativity, Statistical Mechanics, Electromagnetic Field Theory, Astrophysics I, Astrophysics II. Particle Physics and Condensed Matter Physics can be taken simultaneously. Admission requires a project plan accepted by the department.
