Kort presentation
We work on atomic scale engineering of nanomaterials. Our research focuses on ion irradiation and implantation to modify the atomic structure and create engineered defects in 2D materials and other structures. We develop ultra-low energy techniques to accommodate precise modification and employ various techniques from scpectroscopy to high resolution electron microscopy for characterisation. We couple experiments with atomistic simulations to elucidate the dynamic processes.
