Kort presentation
Mattias Gardell är Nathan Söderblomprofessor i jämförande religionsvetenskap och forskare vid Centrum för mångvetenskaplig forskning om rasism. Gardell har i skilda empiriska fält undersökt spänningsfältet religion, politik, våld och rasism. Gardells forskningsintressen inkluderar radikalnationalism, islamofobi, vitmaktkultur, tortyrhistoria, politiskt våld, hatbrott, ensamagerande politiskt motiverade våldsbrottslingar, politisk islam, vit nostalgi, esoterisk fascism och rasismhistoria.
