Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL)
The Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL) is a European neutron research facility in France. The facility has 40 different instruments covering all kinds of neutron scattering techniques. Users come from many different fields of research, from physics and biology to cultural heritage. ILL has the Swedish instrument SuperADAM, which Uppsala University hosts.
The Council for Research Infrastructures (RFI) funds this research infrastructure, which the Swedish Research Council considers to be in the national interest.
