About the course
The purpose of the training is to promote the conditions for heads of department, HR generalists/equivalent and equal opportunities representatives to be able to prevent discrimination in their area of activity in their role as employers in accordance with the Discrimination Act's requirements for active measures.
After completing the training, participants are expected to:
- know what requirements the law imposes, what steering documents and support documents exist at the university and how they can organise their preventive equal opportunities work.
- understand what is considered discrimination, the differences between different forms of discrimination and how they can counteract it in their organisation in a systematic way.
- feel motivated to start or develop their systematic equal opportunities work in different areas.
