Personal Certificates
Certificates from Sectigo no longer available (January 9)
The supplier Sectigo has chosen to abruptly terminate the agreement to deliver certificates on January 9, 2025. Read more here.
If you have a personal certificate from Sectigo you use as long as it is valid. But you will not be able to replace or create new certificates.
You can sign PDF documents with Edusign.
Revoke certificates
If your certificate (the private part) is lost or diverged you will have to do a ”revoke”. Contact IT support for help revoking the certificate.
The certificate should be removed from the certificate archive before your computer is replaced or dumped. Please contact IT Support and they will help you remove the certificate.
Note
Certificates will automatically be downloaded to the computer that you use to create the certificate, so it is inappropriate to do this on a public computer or at an internet cafe or similar.
