Computers and Client Management
When you need to order a new computer or other IT equipment, there are three different choices:
- recommended IT equipment
- IT equipment based on your own choice
- IT package (Recommended for new employees).
Client Management
Client management means that the university’s computers are maintained in a structured manner. Software and operating systems are updated automatically, new programs can be installed smoothly, and inventory data can be generated.
Note
The Vice-Chancellor has decided that all computers at the university must be managed within the university-wide client management systems no later than October 31, 2027. Any exceptions to this must be registered. More information will follow after the summer of 2026.
