Mirko Ancillotti
Researcher in public health, ethics, and patient preferences. Works with questions about the effect of lighting, cancer patient preferences, and antibiotic resistance.
Mirko Ancillotti is associate professor of bioethics. His research areas are public health and applied ethics and his interests include health preference research. He currently works on the ethical aspects of the EU-projects ENLIGHTENme and OncoLogics. ENLIGHTENme studies how urban lighting affects the population's health and well-being. OncoLogics aims to create a platform for personalised colorectal cancer clinical therapy decision support.
Mirko Ancillotti has a background in philosophy. In 2021, he earned his PhD in medical sciences from Uppsala University with a project on antibiotic resistance and the role of individual responsibility and behaviour.
