Pernilla Pergert
Teaches ethics at the nursing and specialist nursing programmes. Senior lecturer in caring science and associate professor of paediatric care science with a special focus on clinical ethics and intercultural care.
Pernilla Pergert is senior lecturer in caring science, with a focus on care ethics. She joined Uppsala University after many years at Karolinska Institutet as associate professor of paediatric care science and research group leader. Her research focus is on clinical ethics, including issues concerning clinical ethics support, ethical climate and moral distress, and intercultural care in pediatric cancer care, especially issues of communication across language barriers and the use of interpreters. She also works with clinical ethics support, for example as a member of the Ethics Council of the Swedish Society of Nursing.
