Kajsa Norberg Wieslander

Researcher with a primary focus on research ethics in pediatric oncology and children’s participation in assent.

Kajsa Norberg Wieslander’s research addresses ethical issues in pediatric oncology research. Her areas of expertise include recruitment and informed consent, including aspects such as children’s participation in assent – which she has examined through both empirical studies and theoretical normative analysis. She also has experience in psychological intervention research and is involved in research concerning supporting physical activity among children who have undergone brain tumor treatment.

Kajsa Norberg Wieslander defended her thesis in February 2026. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Uppsala University. She uses her knowledge of how people function psychologically and socially to enrich her understanding of medical and research ethics issues.
