Adam Ehlert

Doctoral student in clinical medical ethics, investigating severity as a criterion for priorities in healthcare.

Adam Ehlert is a PhD student in clinical medical ethics, working on the research project Just Severity. His research investigates the notion of severity as a priority-setting criterion in health care, with a special focus on the badness of death, moral aggregation and currency questions. His research also involves empirical work investigating how healthcare personnel experience and understand philosophical-theoretical aspects of priority setting. He is also interested in sports philosophy, existential risk and future generations.

Adam Ehlert holds a bachelor's degree in practical philosophy, a bachelor's degree in general linguistics, and a master's degree in practical philosophy from Uppsala University.
