Joar Björk
Physician and clinical ethicist. Research focusses on prioritization challenges, autonomy issues and ethical support in healthcare.
Joar Björk is a physician in palliative home care and a clinical ethicist, living and working in Region Kronoberg but conducting his research at Uppsala University. As a clinical ethicist he is charged with leading ethics rounds and supporting professional groups who encounter ethical challenges. Joar Björk’s research focuses on issues related to autonomy and coercion, justice and prioritization challenges, the ethical perceptions of healthcare personnel and forms of ethical support in healthcare.
